About Sand Cay
Sand Dollar Cay is one of the islands that forms the harbour known as Little Harbour in the Berry Islands and is directly west of Little Harbour Cay, which lies north of Bond's Cay. It comprises approximately 24 acres. The island offers deep water access, crystal clear waters, and white sand beaches.
J. Linton Rigg, in his book entitled Bahama Islands, described Little Harbour thus: Here is the best harbour in the Berry Islands. It is well named, the inner harbour being little, snug, and a veritable hurricane hole.
There used to be a house on Guano Cay but only the foundations and outer walls of the basement remain.
